Cesar Chavez Day Event
Annual César Chávez Day Celebration
Each year, on the birthday of César Chávez, the Madera Coalition for Community Justice proudly hosts our Annual César Chávez Day Celebration — a vibrant community gathering honoring the life, work, and legacy of this legendary Civil Rights leader.
This event is our opportunity to pay homage to Chávez’s tireless fight for the rights and dignity of farmworkers and to celebrate the very community he dedicated his life to defending. We bring together farm-working families, students, local leaders, and community organizations for a day of education, upliftment, and solidarity.
The celebration is filled with rich cultural performances that change each year — from dancing horses and youth singers to Indigenous dances and Folklórico performances — ensuring that each event is unique, memorable, and full of energy.
We invite everyone to join us each year as we honor César Chávez’s enduring legacy, celebrate the farm-working community, and come together in unity.
Stay tuned for details on our next celebration — you won’t want to miss it!
